Sleeping Kangaskhan may be found in a clearing just before the valley with the holes in the wall. We recommend using the Burst Mode of your camera to capture this quick encounter. Three Miniors in their Meteor Form will fall from the sky as you approach the crater area. Even more Swalot can appear if you light up the Crystabloom in this part of the course. 
Swalot can be found in the same place where he is during Badlands (Day).This Scolipede is part of the Gassy Swamp Battle Request. Another Scolipede will also be resting near the meteor crater.A Scolipede can be found resting near the second Crystabloom of the course in Research Level 1.When taking the alternate route, a Gliscor will appear just as the geyser launches the NEO-ONE into the air.By waking them up, they will reappear near the crater area later on in the level. You can wake them up by throwing Fluffruit at them. Several more Gliscor can be found sleeping while hanging upside down.A Gliscor will swoop in towards you as you move past the geysers on the main path.Mandibuzz may be found perched on a tree branch just before you enter the valley with the holes in the wall.A Mandibuzz can be found perched atop the large boulder near the first geyser in Research Level 1.A second Crustle may be found to the clearing on your right just past the first Crystabloom.The first Crustle may be found between the two geysers. Crustles may be found along the main path, just like they were in Badlands (Day).Several Magikarp can be found flopping by the first geyser in Research Level 2.If you arrive at the end fast enough, you may spot him in one of the holes, or running towards you just before you reach the exit teleporter. If you are following the alternate path after waking Zeraora up, you can catch Zeraora again running across the tops of the rock formations throughout the course.If you are following the main path after waking Zeraora up, you can take another picture of him defending Crustle from a Tyranitar as part of the Illusion of the Badlands request.You can wake it up here by throwing a Fluffruit at it. You should be able to spot Zeraora sleeping behind a rock formation to your left on Research Level 2.This is also necessary as part of the Vivillon Valley request.
Up to 6 more types of Vivillon will appear.
If you were able to Orb the first 3 types of Vivillon, proceed along the alternate path and throw an Illumina Orb at the Crystabloom to your right, before reaching the poisonous area. On the alternate path, you can find more Vivillon on your left. Throw Illumina Orbs at these three and they will call for more Vivillon forms later in the course. When playing through Research Level 2, 3 different types of Vivillon can be seen flying away from the player. This course is home to the most variants of Vivillon in the game. Another Sandshrew can be found on the main path just past the geysers. Can be found to your left as soon as the course starts. By taking more pictures of Diglett throughout the level, more will appear at the end of the level. Throw an Illumina Orb where they are burrowed to let them pop up from the ground. 
You should be able to spot them either by scanning or by watching out for the dirt particles above where they are burrowed.
There are plenty of Diglett throughout the stage, all of them will start out burrowed underground. Lycanroc will accompany it and they will howl at the moon. In Research Level 1, Rockruff can be ushered along in the level and later reappearing on a higher ledge just past the poisonous area. Be quick to snap pictures of all three of them. In Research Level 1, Tepig and friends will be playing hide and seek in the valley with holes in the wall. In Research Level 1, Shinx and friends will be playing hide and seek in the valley with holes in the wall. In Research Level 1, Torchic and friends will be playing hide and seek in the valley with holes in the wall. You'll find this Pokemon as part of the Guardian of Friends request. Can be found by the bird's nest when going through the alternate path. Playing with other small Pokemon right at the start of the course. Lycanroc will accompany Rockruff and they will howl at the moon. In Research Level 1, Lycanroc can be ushered along in the level and later reappearing on a higher ledge just past the poisonous area. If you throw an Orb at this first Lyacanroc, he should reappear in the poisonous area later on. On the upper ledge to your left as soon as the course starts.
